Uplift
When a corpus is dipped into a liquid (see picture on the left) the pressure on its lower side is higher than the pressure on its upper side. This pressure difference happens because the two ends of the corpus are in different depths of the liquid (h1 and h2). (h1 und h2 ).
The vertical Force F1 is smaller than the opposite force F2. The difference between F2 and F1 is called Uplift (FA ).
