A bottle filled with air...

For the next experiment you´ll need...

• a balloon
• an empty glass bottle (0,75 or 1 liter)
• a hot plate (or water boiler)
• a pot
• a refrigerator with fridge

Pull the balloon over the bottleneck (as shown in picture below).

As you can see the balloon is not inflated.

What do you think happens, when you put the bottle into a bowl with hot water?

Prove your assumption by doing the experiment. Boil some water in a bowl, but be careful. Careful!
Afterwards hit the right answer:

a) nothing happens

b) the balloon inflates

c) The balloon and the attached bottle fly away after the balloon has inflated.
