Magnetised Iron


In this experiment you will use a piece of iron to find out more about magnetism.


You will use the following materials:

  • Pliers
  • A magnet
  • a long piece of iron
    (For example, you could use a screw, a nail or a knitting needle. It should be as thick as possible, while still being easy to snip through. Also, when coming close to a magnet, it should adhere to it. )
