A bath mat as floor heating

Who is right after all?

a) Laura's dad is right. The bath mat has a higher temperature than the floor because the fluffy material is naturally warmer and heats up Laura's feet. This phenomenon is similar to a woollen sweater.

b) Laura is right. The bath mat and the floor have the same temperature. They both feel equally cold and it does not matter what Laura is standing on.

c) Laura's dad is right. The bath mat does feel warmer than the floor because it can store the heat better and longer. Thus it can emit heat to Laura's feet.

d) Laura is right, the bath mat and the floor have the same temperature. However, the floor does feel less comfortable because they withdraw heat from Laura's feet faster and therefore feel colder.
