While preparing the experiment, install the material analogically to the setup in the picture:
- Fill the wine glass with water.
- Set the projection screen, the glass and the light source in a straight line.
(If you like to work with the sunlight, you have to pay attention that the sunlight will hit the projection screen by passing through the glass.)
- Ensure, that the light source and the glass are installed at the same height.
(Place them onto a stack of books or something similar.)
- Put the glass as close as possible to the light source.
Now you should see a bright area on your projection screen. Otherwise try to darken the room more strongly or use another light source.
