You will understand the order of the colours when you follow the light beams that go from the raindrop into the eye. Because the red components are refracted a bit more downward, they come to the eye of the observer from higher drops. The blue colour components are refracted a bit more upward so that the lower drops redirect the blue lights into the eye.

But what happens when we look at the rainfall from another side? Try to find out, what another observer sees who is closer to the raincloud. Work on Picture 2 of the template, again by drawing a lightbeam of the red and the blue components for each drop.
