Gravitation on Earth

Why do all objects fall towards the Earth and do not hover around us?

a) The gravitational force is caused by the Earth's atmosphere. If no air was on Earth, objects would hover around freely like astronauts in space.

b) Actually, the Earth is a huge magnet. This big magnet attracts all objects (humans, wood, plastics, water etc.) because of its enormous strength.

c) Every body (every substance) exerts an attractive force on other bodies (substances) because of its mass.
