„Preciely, I mean...the white ball is pushed against another ball at rest. What happens to the white ball if it hits the other ball right in the middle?“

a) The white ball bounces back with the same velocity and the other ball stays where it was.
b) The white ball stops and no longer moves while the other ball starts to move after the collision with the exact same velocity as the white ball at the beginning and it moves into the same direction as the white ball before the collision.
