Archimedean Principle

In order to carry out the experiment you still need one glass which is filled up to the brim with water and (kitchen) scales as shown in the picture below.

The weighing pan is removed then and the glass of water is put there inside. In this way any water that flows out of the glass is absorbed in the weighing pan.
