The Characteristic Curve
Take a close look at the curve! The slope gets less and less steep. This tells you the following: the higher the amperage in the glow wire already is, the more voltage is needed to increase the amperage by another 0,1 A.
The reason for this is that the current flow within the glow wire increases. This raises the wire's resistance because the higher thermal motion hinders the charge carrier's flow.
