The Water Model

Now let us use the water wheel and add it to the water circuit. Pay attention to the water wheel while our water battery empties.

At the beginning the water wheel spins very fast because the water pressure is high. As soon as both cylinders contain nearly the same amount of water, the water wheel slows down. The water pressure is too low to make the wheel spin fast. Finally the amount of water in both cylinders is the same. The water wheel stops, it can no longer move.
In the next step we want to transfer our observations onto the electric circuit.
