This is not entirely correct.

The battery only produces indirect heat. Furthermore a computer can work well at normal room temperature.
So that a computer can work, it must be perfused by current. If something is perfused by current, it is almost always heated up. Particularly a lot of current is flowing in narrow space in computers, so that they have to be cooled down.
