The dangers of working with electricity

The most dangerous aspect of electricity is not voltage; it's amperage. If the amperage is high, it is very dangerous. But also the longer an electrical current with a certain amperage runs through our body the more dangerous it is. Already, amperages of 0.03 ampere is dangerous for us!

Compare:
If a person came in contact with electric conductors of socket (= Steckdose), an amperage of 0.23 would flow through the person's body. This is 7-times higher than the critical value, and therefore it's an extremely high risk for causing severe damages to the body!
