The bicycle tour

At a railway crossing, your group is sudddenly split. Only one half of you could cross the rails before the barriers closed. Until your two parts of the group join each other again, you ride on in two units.

Which arrangement do other road users see you in?

a) As the bicycles do not form a unity anymore, all other vehicles can see the front and back lights at the same time.

b) Just like before, road users coming towards you will see the front lights of both groups, whereas drivers overtaking you will see the tail lights.

c) Because of the separation, other road users coming towards you will see the front and back lights alternately. This means that the bicycles are unstructured.
