Protection In Thunderstorms

The danger of a thunderstorm is something you should absolutely take seriously! Never underestimate a thunderstorm! If you hear the thunder, the thunderstorm is less then 10 km away from you. If that is the case, you should immediately leave open space like a football pitch and you should avoid single trees or poles.
If there are only 10 seconds between bolt and thunder, a lightning bolt can strike at any time.
