Struck By Lightning
Which reason (apart from being struck by lightning) could there be for you to stop playing football during a thunderstorm and instead seek shelter?

strike the ground in additional places.
b) Because of the immensely loud thunder, there could be the danger of hearing damage. Due to the thunderbolt's enormously high electric potential the volume of the resulting thunder can be very loud.
c) There could be the danger of an indirect lightning strike because the electric field of a lightning bolt spreads to the ground. .
d) The boundaries of the football field pose high danger because they form a large metal ring which resembles the perfect spot for a thunderbolt to strike.
