Temperature

In Germany, the temperature is measured in Celsius (C°). However, there are more unities than that. As an example we can take the unities Kelvin K or Fahrenheit °F. The temperature scales differ in their zero. In the unity Celsius the zero describes the point in which water freezes. In Fahrenheit the zero is the lowest temperature in the winter of 1709 than could be recreated in a laboratory. In research, the scale Kelvin is most often used. Kelvin uses the absolute zero as origin of the scale. At this point, all the particle in an object are at rest.
